Free hot water
Want free hot water, get an old flexible water tank half fill it with water an leave it on the cabin top. Be careful as the water can get very hot. Used this idea in the Med for years to do the washing up and to shower with. Some people even catch rain water and fill the tank with that.

Boating tips no 2
Another tip for when peeing over the side. Apart from the rule of one hand for the boat it is also recommended the this is always done on the leeward side (away from the wind) as this prevents what is known as blowback and keeps yer pants and anyone in the immediate vicinity unsplattered. Ladies are recommended to use the heads, loo, toilet or any stable receptacle or if very daring moon the wake *as I've heard it called* but please again remember always one hand for the boat.

Boating tips No1
Tip or more a word of warning to all you gents who need a pee in the night, do not (emphasise) do not do it over the side without remembering the *golden* rule one hand on the boat at all times. Many a missing boater is found drowned with his flys open.
